Before you call
- Which cleaning you have in mind. Regular upkeep, a one time clean, a deep clean, a move-out, a turnover for a short-term guest, or dust after a remodel.
- How the home is shaped. Rooms, bathrooms, whether a half bath counts and whether anywhere in the home is off limits.
- How a cleaner reaches the front door. The buzzer and its code, a doorman and the visitor policy, a service elevator and whether it needs reserving, a key or a lockbox at the building, or stairs up to the home.
- Who else is in the home on the day. People, cats, dogs, where they go while the cleaning happens, and anything they are jumpy around.
- Products. The ones already in the home, the ones you want used, the ones to skip for a sensitivity in the household.
- Anything the visit leaves alone. A photograph on a wall, mail in a stack, a plant that does not take water that day.
The call fills in anything missing from the list.
